Festival Case Study

We were approached by a long-term client who was organising a large public Festival in 2020. The Festival was estimated to attract more than 100,000 visitors over three days.

 

The Brief

The brief was to develop a new website and booking system within a month of agreeing to work on the project. The client wanted a ticket system that did not require printing tickets whilst working in a poor cellular location.

The ticketing system needed to be paperless, enabling customers to buy several tickets online, receive them, and display them on their phones when attending the event. The system also needed security to prevent fraud and enable discounts.

Website

The website displayed every aspect of the Festival, including visitor information, impressive displays, numerous news feeds, and vast volumes of content about the vehicles and people attending the Festival.

Social Media

The Festival had little or no social media or history to draw from, so it started from scratch. Three platforms were created: Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.


Our automated social posting software generated a high volume of unique content and enabled the publication of regular, attractive articles, which significantly increased public engagement. Within a few weeks, interactions and new likes reached thousands and grew daily.

Graphic Design

While building the website and social campaigns, the client utilised our unlimited graphic design services and created a consistent flow of related content, images, and graphics. This included 3D layouts of the festival.

Summary

The Festival's management team worked closely with Propria to develop and expand the website, which increased sales.

Outsourcing the website, social media, and graphic design development allowed the management to expand the Festival and more effectively focus on Festival arrangements.
